What do you most like about working here?
Jessica: The coworkers. We get along really well and have fun together.
Kayla: Definitely the people I work with. I also love helping our insureds find savings, so that they can put that money towards their families, vacations, college etc.
TJ: Coworkers, flexible schedule, benefits
Where did you work before coming here?
Jessica: Another independent insurance agency
Kayla: I worked at a bank as a teller
TJ: Sprint Corp.
How did you get into the insurance biz?
Jessica: Started out as a receptionist at an insurance office
Kayla: A friend of mine that worked here introduced me to the agency.
TJ: Decided on a new career path
Where did you go to college?
Jessica: OKCCC Associates degree- in Psychology
Kayla: OSU and TNCC in Virginia
TJ: Oklahoma State University, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Jessica: Hmmm a lot of things. But mainly I wanted to be a Veterinarian or a Counselor at a school
Kayla: A ballet dancer. I still do. or a Zoo keeper
Tell us about your pets.
Jessica: I have a 5 ½ year old dog. She is a mix between a black lab and Pitbull. I am a little obsessed with her.
Kayla: I have at cat named Olive. She only loves me and sleeps on my hip every night. I also have a puppy, Arya. She loves to dig and wrestle with my daughter.
Tell us about your family/loved-ones.
Jessica: I am married and I’m very close with all of my family. I have one sister who is about 2 years older than me. She just had a baby boy. I have game night with my sister and cousins occasionally.
Kayla: I have a wonderful family, two older sisters and a brother. I have a husband who works for Boeing. He was also in the Air force for 4 years in 2008. I have an amazing daughter who is 2. I am an exhausted mother but it is the most rewarding and wonderful thing in the world.
TJ: I am the “middle” child (haha)…but have a great family and great friends
If you could be anywhere in the world doing whatever you wanted, where and what would that be?
Jessica: Probably on the beach having a cocktail
Kayla: I would be doing Theatre in either Chicago or NYC with my family in the audience.
TJ: Living on a tropical island in the Caribbean soaking up the sun and laying on the beach
If your house was on fire and you could grab one thing (assuming living things were out) what would you grab?
Jessica: Things that have to do with my mom. Such as jewelry she has given me and pictures. She passed away in 2015.
Kayla: Water hose ha-ha no probably my purse or important documents
TJ: My phone
Who do you admire most in life?
Jessica: My grandmother. She is very selfless and a very kind person. Always thinking of others first
Kayla: My mom Darla. She has been there for me from day one through my ups and downs. She believes that my dreams will come true even if I don’t. And she is an even better Nana.
TJ: Parents and Grandparents
How would your friends describe you?
Jessica: A nice person who likes to have fun. And loves animals.
Kayla: Hopefully good things. Friendly, easy to talk to, goofy
TJ: Funny; like to have a good time
If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?
Jessica: It would be really cool to see Dinosaurs… as long as they don’t see me
Kayla: I would have loved to sit in the audience of an “I Love Lucy” show. I love her so much she is definitely my idol.
What’s your proudest moment in this industry?
Jessica: Being promoted to head of personal lines.
Kayla: Getting my CISR designation.
TJ: Only being here a short while, I would say obtaining my P&C License
Other than spending time with family and friends, what do you like to do in your free time?
Jessica: I love to travel. I love exploring new places.
Kayla: Going to the movies at the Warren preferably in the balcony, visiting different breweries, playing Frisbee golf, going to the zoo, playing board games with friends, shopping, book club with co-workers.
TJ: I enjoy running, exploring social media, and traveling
